I want to find the word…

Day 13 – Invent a new word and describe its use.

I want to find the word that encapsulates our lives, down to every nuance / a word that holds our ancestor’s dreams in its annunciation /

I want to find the word
that unifies quarrelling nations /
blends our skin tones to the color of oneness / a word that addresses the concerns of every life in every form /

I want to find the word
understood by every language /
felt by the deaf, speaks for the silenced,
confined to the ears of the blind / a word that rests inside the soul of every heart /

I want to find the word
that dispels our rage / demands that
we evolve our tongues to create music / syllables that make melodies, metaphors that transform fire into water / a word that shifts the ground and uncovering our history /

I want to find the word
that gives us a common voice /
decimates castes and social stratas,
destroys the idea of us and them /a word that diminishes power and liquefies poverty.

I want to find the word
that brings us closer to understanding /
creates shelters for the damaged,
breaks ceilings, unhooks shackles / a word limited only by our imagination /

I want to find the word
that no one has ever spoken / but
everyone knows by heart.

A word that sounds a lot like love /

Loveness – the idea that we are all unified by love
